Our campsite is located in the ideal place to enjoy nature near the beach and the big city: Valencia.
From the campsite it is possible to travel to Valencia by car or by train. The train station in Navajas is situated only 500 metres from the campsite; there are every day trains to the city. By car, Valencia is only 40 minutes away.
We recommend all our clients to visit this beautiful city, where they will find a mixing of culture, art, history and also nature.

City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia

The City of Arts and Sciences is an extraordinary complex devoted to scientific and cultural popularization, composed by six main elements: the Hemisfèric, the Umbracle, the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum, the Oceanográfico and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía. The Ágora gives the complex a multifunctional space.

Valencia beaches

In Valencia there are several beaches : las Arenas, la Malvarrosa or el Saler, this one located next to the Albufera Natural Park. You will also find more beaches in the surroundings.

Bioparc is a zoological park of a new generation which has a surface area of more than 100.000 m2. There have been recreated 4 African ecosystems: the Savannah, the Island of Madagascar, the Equatorial Forest and the Wetlands. You will be able to discover the natural habitat of the animals.

Las Fallas

Important events
The Fallas, declared festivities of International Tourist Interest , are the most important festivities of Valencia. From March 15th to March 19th, you can feel the happiness of the valencianos and valencianas in the city lit streets.
It is essential to see the monuments (Fallas), the Mascletà, the spectacular Nit del Foc and the Ofrenda (Flower Offering), a traditional and beautiful parade of all the committees through the city, who walk from their neighbourhood to the Plaza de la Virgen to offer flowers to the Virgen de los Desamparados.
On March 19th takes place the Cremà (burning): all the monuments (Fallas) burn leaving behind all the negative and announcing the beginning of the spring.

Town Council square

La Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Valencia (town hall square) is triangular shape. In the middle of the square there is a fountain and a lot of colourful flowers stalls. It is surrounded by some important buildings like the Ayuntamiento, the Plaza de Toros, the Estación del Norte and the Edificio de Correos. Moreover, the Mascletà takes place every day there during the month on March.

Barrio del Carmen (historic neighborhood)

The barrio del Carmen is located in the historic centre of Valencia. This neighbourhood grew between two walls, a Muslim one and a Christian one. You will find there theatres, snack bars, restaurants, leisure areas and, above all, a mixing of history and cultures. A walk through its paving streets won’t leave you indifferent.

The Quart Towers remind us about Valencia in its Medieval period. These towers were very important because they were the access entrance to the city and the one which linked with the road towards Castilla.

Next to the Quart Towers, the Serranos Towers are one of the most important remains of the walled Valencia in the medieval period. These towers were the sign of power in the city and the main entrance to the city for those who came from the roads of Aragón and Cataluña.

Plaza de la Virgen (square)

The Cathedral of Valencia, the Miguelete and the Basílica de la Virgen are located in the old part of Valencia.

Central Market and Lonja de la Seda (guild)

The Mercado Central de Valencia, of modernist architecture, is one of the biggest markets in Europe. Next to it you will find the Lonja de la Seda, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by Unesco. This masterpiece of the gothic style was a sign of power of the city to attract the traders.


Valencia has 34 museums, where you will be able to enjoy art, architecture and history. You will examine works of Goya and Sorolla in the Museo de Bellas Artes or know the history and origin of the Fallas in the Museo Fallero.

Albufera Nature Reserve

The Albufera is a coastal lake located 10 km. in the South of Valencia. This place is of ecological significance due to the aquatic bird species there. The water of the Albufera has been very important for fishermen and rice growers.
