Important events
The Fallas, declared festivities of International Tourist Interest , are the most important festivities of Valencia. From March 15th to March 19th, you can feel the happiness of the valencianos and valencianas in the city lit streets.
It is essential to see the monuments (Fallas), the Mascletà, the spectacular Nit del Foc and the Ofrenda (Flower Offering), a traditional and beautiful parade of all the committees through the city, who walk from their neighbourhood to the Plaza de la Virgen to offer flowers to the Virgen de los Desamparados.
On March 19th takes place the Cremà (burning): all the monuments (Fallas) burn leaving behind all the negative and announcing the beginning of the spring.
